Jason Gibb boasts an impressive four-decade-long career marked by unwavering commitment to crafting exceptional components. His journey began at Dan Gurney’s AAR where he immersed himself in the world of motorsports. Collaborating closely with esteemed fabricators, engineers, and designers, Jason refined his skills and left a mark on a diverse array of race cars and professional teams.
Beyond the realm of motorsport, Jason’s expertise extended into cutting edge technology during his time at Leading Systems. In this role, he served as a pivotal member of the machine shop and fabrication department during the development of unmanned military drones.
During his 20-year tenure at Precor, a global fitness company, Jason led the model shop, showcasing abilities in CNC machining, tube fabrication, precision sheet metal fabrication, and more. He also spearheaded the Manufacturing Technology Group, implementing a widely successful metal stamping program.
At Valve Software and later Facebook, Jason served as a subject matter expert, contributing to magnesium casting manufacturing, sheet metal forming, and stamping. He played a pivotal role in early supplier development, solving critical challenges and driving successful programs.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jason’s passion for racing spans 40 years, during which he not only drove but also built karts. His track record includes 6 national championships and induction into the IKF Hall of Fame in 2013.
Jason has been happily married for 32 years and is the proud father of two sons.
